Hey folks

Enjoy these web dev tools, all free...

FontPage lets you examine and compare all of the fonts on your system. You can view any typeface in bold, italic, underline and 3-D. You can also print out a specimen page for any font, or print a list of them. FontPage has its own character table with copy and print options, a window with two displays to compare fonts and it has an extra window to preview uninstalled fonts. Lots of features, slick interface, and more to come!

FontsShow is a quick and convinient font viewer. It creates a list, where a user text is formatted using each of the installed fonts. You may look through the list, save it as a RTF file or print it. "

HTML Quick Edit Bar is a freeware toolbar for Microsoft Internet Explorer that allows you to edit the current HTML page within the browser itself (change the font color, size and face, text alignment, etc.). Once edited, HTML Quick Edit Bar allows you to upload the modified page to your web site via FTP. Another feature allows you to examine and manipulate the HTML tree (which will appear in the left pane of the browser) of the current document. Using this tree, you can change and remove HTML tags and their attributes. Dragging a special cursor over the page's HTML elements, enables you to observe the place of these elements in the tree. HTML Quick Edit Bar can be useful for anyone who uses Microsoft Internet Explorer, as it allows you to modify and examine HTML documents "on the fly" when browsing.

Hi buddies,

my 2 cents goes here-

Spaniel News Server: "Java intranet stand-alone fully-compliant NNTP news server. Host your own newsgroups without the overhead of a complete USENET news server."

JSiteMap is an open source applet which allows you to easily generate a dynamic site map for your website. It converts a static HTML-only map (easy to create) into a dynamic javascript tree structure. There are two versions: applet and application.
http://it.geocities.com/teutoburgo/java/jsitemap/jsitemap092.zip

Javascript Vault: The largest offline archive of javascripts you'll find. Over 700 assorted scripts in 17 categories set up to run straight from your browser. Something for everyone from easy to advanced users. Buttons, menus, graphics, text, redirection, cookies, messages, scrollers, forms and more. Set up in html pages so that you can easily try the scripts without any messy editing. If it ain't here, then you probably don't need it.

GateKeeper : "The GateKeeper is a cool chunk of JavaScript code that anyone can use to restrict access to some or all of their web pages without the need for CGI scripting or server based authentication methods."
