Hi Julie,

Thumbs Up for creating all the amazing ‘free downloads’ threads in this forum.

Here are my recommendations in this category-

Audacity: Audacity is an open-source, multi-track sound editor and recorder for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. It can open and save MP3, Ogg Vorbis, WAV, and AIFF files. Built-in effects include noise removal and time/pitch changing. Unlimited undo/redo.

Audioblast is a wav-editor with all the standard functions (record, copy, past, change volume, change speed, make echo) and some extra functions, like making Morse code and making fading echoes.

Soliton is a free sound editor capable of recording and processing sound. You can apply various filters and effects, like normalize, fade, delay, echo, repeated echo reverb, high- and lowpass filters, wall transmission simluation, signal generation and so on; you can also change the amplitude resolution and the samplerate of wave files and view the data in the time- and frequency domains.

Hi

Here are some more-

MP3DB works like this: All folders under your entered Folder or Drive will be displayed on MP3DB´s main frame. When you mouse-click on buttons whith a name then the PLAY-frame will be displayed , if you have any folders under clicked button then another Button-TREE-Structure is created in the PLAY-Frame. MP3DB uses your default-installed-MP3Player when playing the files.

You can encode to various formats (MP3, FLAC, APE, MPC, OGG), tag your MP3's with ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags, rename MP3's and directories to your specification, edit CUE sheets, import album info from CDDB, create M3U playlist files, create and verify SFV file, and even create NFO files.
