I want to know about music download services such as emusic.com & others.
Please give a review of some of the leasing music downloads services & their rates.

Hello
Some of the leading music downloads services are-
eMusic- They charge $10 p.m for 40downloaded tracks. They have a collection of 500,000 songs. File format is MP3.
iTunes Music Store- They charge 99 cents/track. They have a collection of 1,000,000 songs. File format is AAC. Tracks can be burned to CDs, but the same playlist can only be burned upto 7 times.
MSN- They charge 99 cents/track. They have a collection of 1,000,000 songs. File format is WMA.
MusicMatch- They charge 99 cents/track and $9.95 per month for music on demand. They have a collection of 850,000 songs. File format is WMA.
Napster- They charge 99 cents/track and $9.95 per month for straming PC music. They have a collection of 1,00,000 songs. File format is WMA. Only purchased tracks can be burned to CDs.
Wal-Mart- They charge 88 cents/track. They claim to have a collection of 50-,000 songs. File format is WMA. Purchased tracks can be burned to CDs upto 10 times. |
